Thoughts

Thinking of you all today, and hope it goes as well as it can. Im so sorry I can’t be there but Dad and Emmy have promised they will give you a big hug from me Trisha. Such sad news but will always remember Tommy’s huge smile and always showing me all the fish in the huge tank you guys had! Lots of love Lisa xxxx

To my beloved dad Your battle is now over; no more tears flowing down your cheek, no more pain, no more suffering; now you are no longer weak. I still do not understand why this had to happen to you, but I am proud to say you are my dad, the greatest man I ever knew. All my love always Debs xxxx

It is with a heavy heart that I write this knowing that a really good guy has been taken from us. However, I am immensely proud to say that I was lucky enough to have known you from an early age having become best friends with Gav in infant school. One of my earliest memories is watching you and my dad playing football for the Rose Inn pub on the green. You pulling the strings in midfield and my dad 'the cat' in goal. Throughout my childhood/teen years yourself and Trish were so welcoming and hospitable that I couldn't help but feel one of the family. An honorary Murphy. I remember that you would pull me to one side every now and then.....and apprehensively thinking I was about to receive a telling off, you would try out your latest joke or comedic tale. The jokes weren't always great but the delivery spot on! I'm so pleased that I knew you and got to introduce my family to you in adult life. You will be missed Tommy. You were one of a kind
